What if I pass on the plan?
A maintenance plan is completely optional, but is highly recommended. It covers security, optimization, updates, backups, and technical support – all important to the health of your site.
If you choose to forego a plan these maintenance tasks will be your responsibility (a guide will be provided).
You’re welcome to sign up for a maintenance plan at any time, however if it’s after 60 days of your site launch there will be a $149 set-up fee to install tools, perform initial updates, run performance and security checks, etc.
Do you offer maintenance plans for sites you didn’t build?
Unfortunately, no. At this time Maintenance Plans are only offered to websites built by Scout.
How do you bill for additional support requests?
Any support requested outside of your plan is billed in 15 minute increments at the current hourly rate of $120/hour. But as a Maintenance Plan member, you’ll receive 10% off. You’ll receive an invoice at the end of the month for any additional support and no billable work will ever be completed without providing an estimate and getting your approval.
What’s the process for making support requests?
For any support requests, please email support@scout-designco.com. I’ll confirm the request and provide you with a delivery date and cost estimate (if applicable).
Do monthly support credits roll over?
No, any unused credits will not rollover to the next month.
Can I hire you for future support if I’m not on a plan?
Yes! As long as your site was built by Scout, I’m always available for support and additional work. However, it’s important you keep up with website maintenance tasks on your own. If you fall behind on routine maintenance it may effect my ability to deliver on your request or incur additional charges to fix any issues
