DP3 Architects

About the Client
DP3 Architects is a full-service architecture and interior design firm based in Greenville, SC. With over four decades of experience, they work across higher education, community, and restaurant projects to craft spaces that are as purposeful as they are beautiful. With an extensive portfolio and established local reputation – their work speaks for itself.

What they needed
DP3’s website was 8 years old. It was outdated in look, limited in function, and hard to navigate. For a firm that leads with visual work, the gap between the quality of their projects and the quality of their digital presence had become hard to ignore.
They have a large body of work — and none of it was showing up the way it deserved to. The old site put too much friction between prospective clients and the right project, and the design wasn’t doing the firm any favors either.
Design and navigation were equally non-negotiable. The site needed to look like a firm with four decades of exceptional work, and make that work effortless to explore.

What we did
We rebuilt DP3’s site from scratch — custom design, custom development, built to handle a large and growing portfolio without ever feeling cluttered.
Design that matches the work
Design was a key focus on this project — and for good reason. DP3’s portfolio is built on decades of high-end, purposeful work and the new website needed to reflect that right away. We went with a clean, editorial aesthetic deliberately. By keeping the design minimal, the photography takes center stage and the projects speak for themselves.
A portfolio built to be explored
With decades of work across multiple practice areas, the new site had to be easily browsable. A custom filtering system lets visitors sort projects by type so the right work surfaces immediately. Each category also has its own dedicated landing page, giving DP3 a stronger foothold in search and a more intentional entry point for visitors who already know what they’re looking for.
Project templates that adapt to the content
Not every project warrants a full case study. When the client adds a new project, they select the project type — and the relevant fields appear based on that selection. The site then uses that information to determine which template to apply. A detailed case study gets a full case study layout. A simpler project gets a clean write-up and image slideshow. It’s all managed from one intuitive back end, with no extra steps.Let’s just cut it.

Landing pages built for every audience
DP3 works across multiple practice areas and they’re known for specific ones. Each category now has its own dedicated landing page, built to perform in search and serve as a focused destination for targeted outreach. When speaking to a specific industry or referral source, there’s a purpose built, conversion-ready landing page to send them to.
