What they needed
This website was designed by Nice People. I was contracted to bring the vision to life in WordPress.
This was a brand new venture with a big vision -it was important the site was built with growth and scalability in mind. Categories and tags play a huge role in how content is displayed and organized, so this needed to be easy to implement and automated for when new categories are added. Since the business owner publishes articles herself, it had to be easy to manage and make frequent updates to.

What we did
We created custom post types and custom taxonomies to distinguish the various content types and an advanced filtering system making content easy to find. With tiered menus, articles are neatly organized into parent and sub categories and offer a smooth user experience when navigating the site. New categories and brands are automatically added to menus, lists and filters and posts are templatized with custom blocks making it quick and easy to publish new posts, include relevant featured sections, add linked products and showcase related content.
