Book a Discovery Call where we'll discuss your business, website goals and answer any questions about the process. After the call you'll receive a custom proposal and calendar link to book your Intensive day.

02. Strategy and Site Prep
Before your Intensive, I'll develop a website strategy based on your Onboarding Questionnaire. I'll present the Strategy via Loom and you'll have the opportunity to leave feedback to make sure we're on the same page before the design begins. 03. Build and Review
On Day 1 of your Intensive, we'll have an afternoon check-in to make sure the site's coming together as you envisioned. I'll make revisions based on your feedback and finish building the remaining pages. The next morning you'll receive a live demo link and give the site a full review. We'll make any necessary tweaks before going live.

What do I need in order to book a Website Intensive?
In order for your Website Intensive to be successful, you should provide:
- Logo
- Brand fonts
- Brand colors
- Images
- Website Copy
I do have a Website Content Guide to assist you in writing your own website copy, if needed.
If you need help sourcing stock photography for you site, let me know on our Discovery Call. I’m happy to help with sourcing for an additional cost.
If your brand new and don’t have branding yet (logo, fonts, colors), let me know! We can add a Mini Brand to your project that includes a word mark logo, color palette and font system.
How does payment work?
A 50% deposit is required in order to book your Website Intensive and get you officially on my calendar. The remaining 50% is due by the day of your Intensive.
Late payments can result in a cancellation of your Intensive in which your deposit will be non-refundable.
What are domain and hosting?
Both are required to launch a website on WordPress.
Your domain is the URL of your website – like scout-designco.com. I recommend Namecheap to purchase your domain. Generally, the cost is around $12/year.
A hosting account provides the space for your website to live. I recommend using WP Engine for hosting. The starter plan (probably all you’ll need) is $20/month.
Is ongoing support available?
Support is included at no additional cost for 2 weeks following your site’s launch. Afterward, support requests can be scheduled and billed at the current hourly rate.
You’ll also have the option of joining the Monthly Maintenance Plan to keep your new website updated, backed up and secure.
Will my site be SEO optimized?
Absolutely! All Scout sites are built with SEO best practices in mind to make Google happy.
You’ll also receive an SEO checklist and tutorial to make sure each page of your site is optimized for best results.
What platform will my site be built on?
All Scout websites are built on WordPress. Semi-custom sites use a page builder called Bricks. It allows for a quick and efficient build process while outputting clean, un-bloated code (unlike many page builders out there!) for optimized performance and SEO.
Access to the Bricks builder is included in your project.
Will I be able to make updates to my site?
Absolutely! Each page will be neatly labeled in the backend so you can edit text and photos easily – no code necessary! I will also provide you with video tutorials specific to your site so you can always go back and watch as a reference.
